LABEL: "William Hunter and his brother the surgeon John Hunter both owned portraits of this dwarf called Owen Farrel (1716-1742) who was only 3 feet 9 inches tall. Farrel's skeleton also passed into Dr Hunter's collection, since in the 19th century it "hung in the Hunterian Press". By the time teachers catalogued the anatomical preparations in 1900, all that was left was "an articulated foot and leg" and that much is still in the Pathology Museum, Royal Infirmary."
