Notes:
From William Hunter's original collection. A nice series, ranging in size from about 18mm on edge, to 6mm on edge. This is probably item 22, under lead in the Trustees catalogue of 1794-7: "22. Galena crystallized in seperate Crystals in soft earth; the Crystals are cubical excepting that all the angles are cut of. Cumberland.". Also has the Jacob Forster dealer number "15. Ii", which indicates that it is item 15 on the bill of 29th August, 1777.
