From William Hunter's original bequest. Very nice specimen. Museum catalogue gives Cumberland as the locality, but the adhering Jacob Forster dealer label "4 /Rr" identifies this as item no. 4 on the bill of 13. 7. 1771: "4. Fine Cubic Fluss Spar from Saxony 10 10s 0d"
