Notes:
This chair is Mackintosh's version of one he designed for his only built church, Queen's Cross, Maryhill, Glasgow. The design is relieved by the small pierced leaf shape at the top edge of the back. The upholstery is woven horsehair, a commonly used covering, selected for its toughness.
