Notes:
This sturdy dresser was one of the few new pieces Mackintosh designed when he moved in 1906 to Florentine Terrace in the West End of Glasgow. The kitchen was a utilitarian space located at the rear of the house. The inscription shows Mackintosh originally considered painting the dresser bright blue, but there is no evidence that this was carried out. The dresser is Coll. Hunterian Art Gallery GLAHA 41232.
