Notes:
This drawing of a music cabinet for Miss Pickering, Braxfield, Lanark, was almost certainly designed in 1898. It shares stylistic similarities with the cabinet Mackintosh designed for Alex Seggie, Edinburgh, during the same year. The leaded glass panel has a pointed projection at the top. The cornice continues down the sides of the cabinet and the panel at the bottom of the music cabinet is either stencilled or embroidered and is related to the two panels in the Seggie cabinet - see GLAHA 41790.
