Notes:
It is unknown whether this exhibition stand was executed and for what exhibition it was intended. The design is significant nevertheless for Mackintosh's extensive use of lattice panels as both a structural and decorative device. Mackintosh went on to repeat this decoration in the pattern of the Chinese Room of 1911, for 'Miss Cranston's' tea rooms, Ingram Street, Glasgow. Additionally, the coloured panels anticipate those Mackintosh used in the hall screen of W.J. Bassett-Lowke's home , 78 Derngate, Northampton, 1916-17.
