The church's east end is late-15th-century Perpendicular Gothic. It has an embattled parapet with crocketed finials. Its window has a four-centred arch with hoodmould and end stops. At right Mackintosh has depicted the mouldings of the battlements, string course, concave window jamb and mullion, and buttress.
