The drawing may date from 1896 when Mackintosh worked on mural decoration schemes for Miss Cranston's Buchanan Street premises. Or it may be a sketch after the light fittings. It is not certain whether the fittings were designed by Mackintosh or George Walton, the lead designer at Buchanan Street. The page has been inaccurately numbered '95' in an unknown hand.
