Notes:

Windyhill, Kilmacolm, designed in 1900-1, was Mackintosh's first major domestic commission. The client, William Davidson, was to become one of Mackintosh's most loyal patrons. The chair in this design has a high tapered back, see GLAHA 52700. Two were made to be placed alongside the hall table, which could also serve as a dining table. Scale 1:12
